Get a Head Start on College by Earning Credits from WVC

Concurrent enrollment can ease the transition from high school to higher education as it lets students gain college experience while still finishing high school. Besides their high school curriculum, students also take on a selection of classes provided by the college. These dual-credit programs allow students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously.

Running Start

Running Start is a dual credit program that gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take tuition-free classes and earn college credits at Wenatchee Valley College. Whether you choose to attend WVC full-time or part-time, you can earn credits that count toward both your high school diploma and your associate's degree, helping you get a running start on your education!

College in the High School

College in the High School through WVC is an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit while still in high school.  Students who complete articulated courses taught at their high school by qualified high school faculty providing the same rigor and content as an on-campus college class are eligible to receive WVC credit.

CTE Dual Credit

Wenatchee Valley College and most of the high schools within Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties have  established "Programs of Study" joining the high school programs to the college programs. Through the CTE Dual Credit program, students can receive both high school credit and Wenatchee Valley College credit at the same time while remaining in their high school.
